Made of a soft tan leather, this helmet is in very good supple condition. It is constructed of multiple separate pieces of leather, with a 5 pointed Japanese Army Star on the front. The ear cups are complete, and made of hardened leather, each having holes in the center for mounting the communication equipment and receivers, but the holes now have wool pads inserted. All straps of the flying helmet are fully
